Question 3. The compound JWH-307-Br is a synthetic brominated cannabinoid with the chemical structure shown below left and the molecular formula C26H24NOBr.

e) Calculate the exact theoretical m/z values from your answer to question d) (this is still the [M+H]+1 ion) for the second and third carbon isotopes of the compound JWH-307-Br (i.e. the next two peaks in the spectrum).
f) Calculate the exact theoretical m/z value for the second bromine isotope of JWH-307-Br if all other atoms are in their monoisotopic forms (12C, 14N, etc.)
g) Explain the intensities of the three isotopic peaks in the spectrum below according to your results in e) and f).

h) What instrumental resolution (R) would be needed to distinguish properly (50% or 90% valley) between a peak that corresponds to the second isotope of Br (your answer to question f) and a peak that corresponds to the third isotope of C (your answer to question e)?
